common uses
For centuries, gardeners and farmers alike have recognized the benefits of seaweed as a fertilizer, used both as a foliar spray and as a soil conditioner. This sustainably sourced, organic fertilizer can improve plant health from the very first stages of germination, through root development and budding. Seaweed is also an effective deterrent of frost, stress, pests and diseases.
Organic gardeners will greatly benefit from the use of Sea Storm supplement. With over 70 minerals, vitamins, and enzymes, as well as immediately available micronutrients, hormones, and carbohydrates, seaweed is a health packed punch for all stages of plant life.
Soaking seeds with Sea Storm prior to planting will improve seed germination and early seedling vitality. Root masses will be larger, and Sea Storm treated roots are more resistant to transplant shock. Treating the soil with seaweed will promote stronger, disease-resistant plants, while also helping the soil retain water close to the root system.
In the early budding stage applied Sea Storm will promote healthier buds, fruit, flowers and crops will develop in greater abundance, with more lush and vibrant results.
Plants treated with Sea Storm as a foliar spray close to the date of harvest will turn out produce that has longer shelf life and flowers that last longer once cut.
Sea Storm is a combination of seaweed from the East coast of Canada, Kelp from the West coast and the Humic acid from Saskatchewan, which makes this a truly Canadian product. This combination of organics will make your plants thrive. By adding Humic acid to the blend it helps to retain the seaweed in your soil for longer periods of time as well as adding to the mineral content.
